Thank You to all the local businesses that have supplied us with test equipment and surplus components, without their help we wouldn't be able to offer the high quality training and support to those that have passed their exams.
Not forgetting individuals who have donated equipment or made monetary donations.
Also thanks to the instructors who give their time free to train people.
The training center only charges a nominal fee for courses and no charge to those who come along on open evenings. It does however cost money to keep the place going and because of this we do have a pot for a donation towards heating, lighting and tea & coffee etc.
Also various local companies from time to time, instead of throwing away old equipment when they upgrade, donate it to us and we repair and use it if it's the sort of thing that can help with what we do here.
We also take items to radio rallies for sale to help with our running costs.
We have built up a large stock of consumables for use in the hobby and also radio equipment that we loan to those who have equipment away for repair or in need of that extra test set. Again, there is no charge for this!
If you have anything that is surplus to requirements and would like to donate it for use at the center, we would be very happy to have a chat about it and tell you what it might be used for.
